Uz. Dr. Yaşar H. Onganlar, a Child Health and Diseases Specialist based in Ankara, is reshaping the approach to pediatric care by strictly adhering to the fundamental medical principle of "first, do no harm" (primum non nocere).

Moving away from the trend of heavy medication, Dr. Onganlar advocates for a strategy that minimizes drug use and avoids unnecessary medical tests, focusing instead on educating families on correct attitudes toward common issues like fever and growth development. Dr. Onganlar completed his medical education at Samsun 19 Mayıs University (1998–2004) and his residency at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara (2005–2010), where he finalized his thesis in the Pediatric Endocrinology department.

Before establishing his private clinic to provide more personalized care, he served in various institutions across Turkey, including Ankara Elmadağ State Hospital, Bursa Çekirge Military Hospital, and Malatya Beydağı State Hospital. He also held a teaching position at Lokman Hekim Ankara Hospital between 2016 and 2018.
