20 Happy Flight Years celebrated with a spectacular event
Corendon Airlines, one of Europe’s leading holiday airlines, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a dazzling gala night at Antalya’s Cosmos Theatre. Themed “20 Happy Flight Years,” the event brought together a distinguished audience from the aviation and tourism industries, as well as notable figures from government, business, sports, politics, and media.
Guests included Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, Mayor Muhittin Böcek, Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Yusuf Hacısüleyman, television personality Acun Ilıcalı, coach Yılmaz Vural, and sports commentator Ertem Şener, among many others.
A two-decade journey from dream to international success
Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman of the Board of Corendon Airlines, opened the evening with a heartfelt speech recounting the company’s founding. “Twenty years ago, during a drive from Brussels to Amsterdam with my partner Atılay Uslu, we envisioned a different kind of airline—one that delivers safe, comfortable, and heartfelt service,” Karaer said. “Today, that vision has grown into a reality shared by millions of passengers.”
He added that Corendon Airlines now operates a fleet of 35 aircraft, serves 10 million passengers annually, and contributes significantly to global tourism. “We’ve built more than a company—we’ve built a community of loyal travelers, trusted partners, and dedicated employees.”
A fusion of cultures in music, food, and entertainment
The gala night treated attendees to performances from artists representing the airline’s key destinations. Spanish singer Nalaya Brown, French-Lebanese performer Carolina Karam, percussionist Yusuf Özer, The Big Band, Hunkar Dance Show, and Cyprus-born pop star Ivi Adamou all delivered stunning acts. The evening concluded with a vibrant after-party featuring Juni Juliet.
The culinary experience reflected Corendon’s global reach, with a menu inspired by signature dishes from destinations across its flight network. Guests enjoyed a culinary journey that mirrored the airline’s mission of connecting people through travel.

To commemorate this milestone, Corendon Airlines launched two exclusive offers for travelers. Between May 25 and July 31, 2025, 20,000 seats will be available with up to 20% discount.
