Dr. Ertugrul Guler Pioneers Infection Control in Ankara Pediatric Care
Established in 1994 and modernized in 2012, Dr. Ertuğrul Güler's clinic minimizes cross-contamination risks by strictly separating areas for sick and healthy children.

Dr. Ertuğrul Güler, a long-standing pediatrician in Ankara, has set a new standard for outpatient safety by designing his Child and Infant Health Center with architecturally separated zones to prevent the spread of infectious diseases between patients.
Operating in the Çankaya district since 1994, the center underwent a significant renovation in 2012. The primary goal of this modernization was to break the chain of infection common in traditional waiting rooms by providing distinct play, waiting, and examination areas for healthy children and those receiving treatment for illnesses.
A Holistic Approach to Child Health
Beyond physical infrastructure, the center focuses on comprehensive developmental monitoring. Dr. Güler works in tandem with Child Development Specialist Gülsüm Gencay to ensure that every standard examination includes a thorough assessment of the child's physical and mental progress.
This multidisciplinary approach allows the team to track "healthy child" milestones closely while simultaneously managing acute illnesses in a safe, isolated environment. By integrating specialist developmental tracking into routine care, the center aims to catch potential issues early, supporting the overall well-being of Ankara's youth.
