2024: A Year of Unprecedented Growth for Bodrum Cruise Port
Bodrum Cruise Port, part of the portfolio of the world’s largest cruise port operator, Global Ports Holding, closed its 2024 season with record numbers. Hosting a total of 98 cruise ships and 118,083 cruise passengers, the port also facilitated 722 ferry trips, serving an additional 138,851 ferry passengers. This brought the total number of passengers to over 256,000, marking a significant achievement for the port.
The season began on April 7, 2024, with the arrival of Silver Spirit and concluded with the same ship on November 8, 2024.
First-Time Visitors: 10 Cruise Ships Dock in Bodrum
As one of Turkey’s most sought-after tourism destinations, Bodrum welcomed 10 cruise ships for the first time this year, including:
- Crystal Symphony (Crystal Cruises)
- Marella Discovery (Marella Cruises)
- Seven Seas Grandeur (Regent Seven Seas Cruises)
- Costa Fortuna (Costa Crociere)
- Norwegian Getaway (Norwegian Cruise Lines)
- Silver Whisper and Silver Ray (Silversea Cruises)

- Astoria Grande (Aquilion Shipping)
These ships were welcomed with festive performances by the Bodrum Band and bid farewell with enchanting violin recitals, leaving a lasting impression on passengers and crew alike.
